Complete Fire Restoration - wood burning stove

This project in the Eastern Iowa was a complete house fire that was caused by a wood burning stove. Even though the job was completed nearly 10 years ago, the photos provide a great example of not only how significant a fire can damage a structure, but also, our capabilities in restoring that structure, resulting in a beautiful home.  The structure was taken down to the studs, cleaned the fire damage and completely renovation restored.  As can be seen in this series of photos, the insurance provider that paid the claim, allowed the homeowner to make some changes to the original structure.  Some of these changes resulted in a revised floor plan, different window styles and a much more modern kitchen.  At SERVPRO of Dubuque, we always work closely with the homeowner and their insurance company to complete a project in a timely fashion within the agreed upon budget.
