Storm Damage Cleanup Dubuque Iowa
As a result of heavy rains in August of 2017,an unoccupied commercial building in the Key West neighborhood in southern Dubuque Iowa was flooded with surface water and mud. In the attached photos you can see mud and dirty water that was left after the business' own cleaning personnel had tried to clean up the mess. We were able to wash and extract the water from the tile floor and set our commercial dehumidification equipment to dry the structure.
The building dried much faster once the water had been mechanically extracted, lowering the humidity in the building. Due to this, we were able to dry the walls with out having to cut out or punch vent holes in the drywall to dry it.
Since this property is pending occupancy, being able to avoid wall demolition saved significant time that would have been spent on reconstruction.
